Stephen has 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. He joined Maverick Transportation in January 1984 when the company had just 50 trucks.
Beginning his career as a Sales Representative, Stephen became Executive Vice President in December of that same year. He was promoted in 1996 to Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations and again in 2001 to his current position of President and COO.
Stephen is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the entire company, with an emphasis on Sales, Operations, and Safety. He received his BSBA in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in 1972. Stephen and his wife Linda have three children and reside in Little Rock.
