Maverick Transportation, LLC was recently presented with two prestigious safety awards for their 2010 fleet safety performance.
The first award was presented to Maverick by the Arkansas Trucking Association at their annual meeting in Branson, MO. Maverick was presented with the "Corporate Fleet Safety Award 2010" in the Truckload, Flatbed Division for Large Carriers. The purpose of this award is to recognize the safest fleets in the state of Arkansas.
The second award, the "2010 Award for Safety and Operational Excellence," was presented by Great West Risk Management to Maverick. This award is based on various criteria, including timely reporting of claims, innovative loss prevention programs, and demonstrated operational excellence.
"We are honored to receive these awards from both the Arkansas Trucking Association and Great West," said Dean Newell, Vice President of Safety and Training at Maverick. "We emphasize safety in everything we do. Any time we are recognized for that, it is a testament to our culture."
